Dad, what is love

DAD. What is love?

Son. Where are you getting all of these questions? Well, Dad. When you read the Bible to me, it states that the Christians, believers, and followers of Christ. Are to love one another. Yet, when I saw people beating one another with hockey sticks, flag poles, and their fists while attacking the capital. It made me wonder, dad, Does love even exist anymore in America?

First, let me say this son, John, the Disciple that Jesus loved wrote, those who love God must love their brothers and sisters as well (1-Jn.4:21). Jesus commanded His followers to love the Lord their God with all their heart. With all their soul, with all their mind, and with all their strength. Such is the first commandment. And the second commandment is like it you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these
(Mark 12:29-31).

Jesus said, you have heard that it was said, you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons and daughters of your Father in heaven (Matt.5:43-45).

Jesus taught Christians, and us also how to live as sons and daughters of God. However, all do not have faith, believe, or obey the words of Jesus. In (Lk.6:46), Jesus said, but why do you call Me Lord, Lord. And not do the things which I say?

It is out of God’s love for the wicked that He sent His Son Jesus into the world, because it is not God’s will that anyone should perish but that all should come to repentance (2-Peter 3:9). Jesus said for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance (Matt.9:13). God’s will to save sinners should be a Christians will as well, but how dose a believer, preach to someone they hate or feel they are unworthy to be saved. God did not call us out of darkness to judge, but rather to love.

Peter, Jesus, favorite Disciple, was a judge; he only
preached to the Jews because he believed everyone else was unworthy. But in a vision, God said to Peter and us, as well, what God has cleansed you must not call, common or unworthy (Acts 11:9), and this reminds me of what Jesus said to His Disciples. In (Lk.18:8), Jesus said, when the Son of Man comes, will He “really” find faith on the earth? The Bible says Christ died for all peoples and not just for the ones we like or think should be saved (2-Cor.5:15).

My son, listen to me; love is sharing God’s blessings with others even when they don’t deserve it, or are of a different nationality. Remember how God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Rom.5:8),

In (Gen.22:17), the Lord reminds us when we bless others, He the Lord will bless us (Gen.22:17). Paul joins in the conversation saying, whoever has this world's goods and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, (Does not help), how does the love of God abide in this man or woman? (Read 1-Jn.3:17-18).

The apostle Paul says Christian love suffers long and is kind; does not envy; does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked,
thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

My son, be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.

Your church is the typical den of devils if you do not believe God hates all divorce from a covenant marriage and that only DEATH ends that bond.
